USB Flash Drive Format
If you choose the flash drive option for making your purchase, a USB flash drive will be sent to you via mail. Insert the USB drive into a USB port on your computer. Once opened, you will see a list of DAW project files and a selection of corresponding sheet music. If you have already loaded Reaper, you can click on any project folder and it will automatically open your Reaper Program. On the project page, you will see a list of the instrumentation for that piece. Hit the "play" button, and your file will begin playing. Most files begin with an audible click track (which should correspond to the one in your organ score). It is strongly suggested that you first follow the organ score along with the audio file before playing.
IMPORTANT: If you make any editorial changes to your project, please rename it as a new Reaper project file in your own computer location. You will always need your flash drive inserted into your computer when using OSA so try to avoid altering any of the original files.
Digital Audio Workstation
Organ Symphony Assistant USB flash drive files can only be accessed through the digital audio workstation, Reaper. DAWs were developed for music and MIDI recording, arranging and editing. Although Organ Symphony Assistant utilizes only the most fundamental functions of audio editing, DAWs (along with an audio interface) are also an excellent platform for multi-channel playback. The Reaper DAW is also useful for general editing, like tempo, pitch and volume changes. Reaper is only available in a PC format.
